Santra is an aromatase inhibitor utilized for the adjuvant treatment of postmenopausal women with hormone receptor-positive early breast cancer. It serves as the first-line therapy for postmenopausal women with hormone receptor-positive or unknown locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer and is also used for advanced breast cancer in postmenopausal women experiencing disease progression after Tamoxifen therapy.
In light of its function as an anti-estrogen, Santra is commonly used off-label by male bodybuilders during their Post Cycle Therapy (PCT) to help restore the body's natural testosterone levels, thereby preventing undesirable estrogen-related side effects, such as gynecomastia, which may arise at the conclusion of a steroid cycle.
The active component of Santra is Anastrozole. Each tablet of Santra contains 1 mg of Anastrozole.
Anastrozole (Santra) is indicated for postmenopausal women undergoing treatment for early breast cancer. Its applications include: post-surgery, with or without radiation, in cases of hormone receptor-positive breast cancer, initial treatment of locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer in women with hormone receptor-positive status or unknown hormone receptor status, and management of advanced breast cancer in cases of progression or spread following Tamoxifen therapy. The suggested dosage for Santra is one 1 mg tablet taken daily.
Use Santra exactly as directed by your physician. Continue taking Santra for the duration your doctor prescribes. Consume one tablet daily with or without food. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular dosing schedule. Do not take two doses simultaneously.
If you have exceeded the prescribed dose of Santra, contact your doctor immediately. Do not take any extra Santra tablets unless directed by your doctor.
Consult with your doctor regarding any health changes experienced while using Santra.
Clinical trials have shown that dosages up to 60 mg in a single administration were given to healthy male volunteers, and up to 10 mg daily for post
